I’m thinking of migrating epikal.com to epikal.com in Jan 2010. As a domain name, w-ki is shorter, but has no actual meanings. What do you think about this?

The REASON why we banned DraX
Many of you may be more curious than angry. W-ki.com is an open site as I said. I usually do not ban any one for whatever music they post, or whether they make money from that. I did not give a reason because I did not want to hurt the contributers. DraX contacted me several days ago reporting several other contributers (may be one person under various names as he said) He asked me to ban the other contributers and promised to share his earnings from hotfile with me. And the amount he guranteed is far more huge than our advertising income which is too small so far. I don’t like that. Actually I don’t live a life on epikal.com. But I did not ban him for that. I just never answered his second email which came with some details.
Today, someone reported this DraX with a loooong email making me reconsider the whole thing. I soon decided to ban him. That’s all.

I know most of you are not care about the truth but ‘free music’. So I may bring him back, but he may won’t like to post here any more Enjoy your stay or Enjoy your Goodbye.

As you see, Google Adsense disappears, and the search function on the right side turned useless. Yes we’re banned by Google on Feb 6. Someone, some label owner, mailed Google.
Our database is hosted on a VPS and the site is hosted on another hosting. Even that, we’re not ready to handle so much growing traffic at the time. User registration was closed nearly a month ago, and many functions were disabled to avoid a 403 error or something. And we thought everything was OK.

It’s not OK.
Now epikal.com truly needs your help. I’m collecting some money to upgrade the server, make it running, and so that I can enable all the functions of the site.

Advices are also welcome.

Even if I collected a 0, epikal.com won’t colse. This world is a realistic world, but for me it’s a ideal one.

Unlike this site, MioMio.org is about other music genres that are less danceable and with more beauty. There’s no tech in MioMio.org, no techno, no electro, no trance… There’s only peace.

If you have some interest in other music, you can go there and enjoy. Sharing old stuff is also welcome.
