About Remote Area
Remote Area vinyl imprint of 100% Pure Records and INTACO Records Label owner Dylan Hermelijn from Amsterdam Holland. Home of the likes of Shinedoe, Sterac, 2000 and One and Dave Ellesmere. Remote Area will focus on the deeper side of electronic minimalistic dance music e.g. Minimal Techno. The artist appearing on Remote Area: mostly new talents who never ever released on vinyl before, but are strong contributors to the Dutch scene. Lauhaus, Boris Werner and Aron Friedman from Amsterdam, who are responsible of there MONO parties. David Labeij who released on the Dutch netlabel www.redevice.com and Julien Chaptal , Kabale und Liebe & Daniel Sanchez, Gimikk and many more talented artists on the way. Collaborators will also be Makcim & Managamend of the MINIMAL Eindhoven crew. Electronic veterans Dylan Hermelijn and Dave Ellesmere (aka Microfunk) will show their deeper yet darker side of electronic experiments on Remote Area. Since 2007 Amsterdam imprint Remote Area started the offshoot of Area Remote. The sublabel focus on one-sided collaborations or one day spin offs. yet more house, sure still sexy… …from the next generation top talents in Amsterdam to international levels such as Kabale und Liebe & Daniel Sanchez, Pitto, Gimikk, Yann Solo and many more as well as deep, creative electronic experiments on the way!
